Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Develops, maintains, and audits quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for coated parts including chem-film, anodize, passivation, and organic coatings.
Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
Partners with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Leads failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance and productivity.
Works with Mil-Spec special processes including heat treatment, stress relief, chem-film, anodize, passivation, and organic coatings.
Performs paint processing including part preparation, spray-painting, and thickness testing.
Writes instructions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation for coated parts.
Ensures product quality and regulatory compliance for both manufactured and procured components.
Applies quality engineering methods to support manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance.
At least 3 years of experience working with Mil-Spec special processes including heat treatment, stress relief, chem-film, anodize, passivation, and organic coatings.
At least 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience with paint processing including part preparation, spray-painting, and thickness testing.
Experience writing work instructions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
Experience performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and drawings.
Experience leading failure investigations, MRB actions, and CAPA implementation.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including program management, engineering, and supply chain.
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives for quality and productivity.
Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
