PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technician to join our team. Role Overview & Impact: As a Senior Engineering Technician, you'll be responsible for improving production efficiency, analyzing time and motion, and developing standard production rates for maintenance, production, and clerical operations. This role is integral to streamlining processes and ensuring high-quality output. You'll leverage your expertise in electrical schematics, J-standard soldering, and computer repairs, all while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiency Studies: Record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and set standard production rates.
- Technical Expertise: Analyze blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure optimal function and performance.
- Soldering & PCB Rework: Perform J-standard soldering on new and reworked printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Cable & Harness Manufacturing/Repair: Use your skills to fabricate and repair cables and harnesses.
- Computer Repairs & Test Box Fabrication: Repair and maintain computer systems and fabricate custom test boxes for testing and quality assurance.
- Leadership: Potentially lead and direct the work of others to accomplish complex tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle complicated tasks and rely on your judgment and experience to achieve goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical systems, blueprint analysis, and PCB work.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in J-standard soldering, PCB rework, cable and harness fabrication, and computer repairs.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical systems, blueprint analysis, and PCB work.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a team or directing the work of others.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to independently take initiative.

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
