Summary:

Coordinates hardware and software development tasks and data analytics services across internal groups and with international and US Air Force customers.

Manages technical, schedule, and financial baselines for C-17 Digital Engineering Services.

Supports the entire product lifecycle including business capture, award, baseline establishment, requirement development, supplier subcontracting, systems integration, field support, and customer interactions.

Executes complex project management that drives schedules forward while minimizing impact to other engineering efforts.

Meets technical performance, quality, cost, and on-time delivery of products and services.

Manages projects through all phases of proposals, development, qualification, and customer support.

Applies knowledge of subsystem design and requirement allocation for engineering projects.

Manages technical supplier relationships and ensures integration of hardware and software architectures.

Performs critical analysis and problem-solving across system, hardware, and software architectures.

Ensures customer satisfaction and success throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD 4 years' related work experience, Master 7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

9+ years of experience with Project Management of USG, Aerospace, and or DoD projects.

Experience managing projects through all phases of proposals, development, qualification, and customer support.

Knowledge of subsystem design, requirement allocation, and technical supplier management.

Critical analysis and problem-solving skills across system, hardware, and software architectures.

Preferred: Military aircraft program experience.

Preferred: Experience working within C-17 matrixed reporting organization.

Preferred: Familiarity with PMBOK concepts and their practical applications.

Preferred: Strong leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.

Ability to coordinate with internal groups and with international and US Air Force customers.
