PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading organization in the energy industry to find a talented Assistant Electrical Detailer – Revit Modeler who is ready to contribute to the development of high-voltage substation projects that power communities and industries across the country.

What You'll Do
As an Assistant Electrical Detailer – Revit Modeler, you'll play a vital role in supporting engineering and construction teams by developing accurate 3D models and detailed construction drawings for high-voltage substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for substation projects.
Develop and revise 2D construction drawings that support engineering and field construction activities.
Produce substation layouts and model equipment arrangements.
Create models for basic systems including conduit routing, grounding systems, and cable routing.
Coordinate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
Incorporate project revisions and feedback into models and drawings in a timely manner.
Verify that all drawings and models remain current, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.
Support fast-paced infrastructure projects through effective collaboration and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
Bachelor's Degree in Drafting Technology or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Revit experience, OR
Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Revit experience, OR
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Revit experience.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of Revit experience required.
Experience using AutoCAD.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from construction drawings and engineering plans.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Important Note: Bachelor's degrees in Engineering disciplines are not eligible for this CADD-focused role. Internship experience does not count toward the required years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree in Drafting Technology or a related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on Revit experience.
Experience supporting substation, utility, transmission, distribution, or other infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with high-voltage electrical systems and utility industry standards.
