Job Title: Aircraft Painter
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate Starting at : $28.00 per hour
As an Aircraft Painter, you will play a vital role in preparing and finishing aircraft surfaces to exacting standards—ensuring every aircraft not only performs at its best but looks exceptional doing it.
In this role, you will:
Prepare aircraft exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
Strip existing coatings and prepare surfaces for refinishing
Mix and apply primers, paints, and specialized finishes in accordance with specifications
Apply external markings and coatings to aircraft sections with precision
Perform layout work and pattern preparation for accurate application
Handle and apply adhesives and sealants as required
Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Minimum 2 years of experience in application and removal of aircraft paint coatings, adhesives, and sealants
At least 1 year of related hands-on experience in a similar role
High School Diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols
Aviation or aerospace industry experience
Vocational or technical training (e.g., trade school or associate degree)
Familiarity with industry-standard tools, coatings, and finishing processes
