Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will develop advanced 2D and 3D simulations and interactive applications that support aviation training, design, and operational excellence. Your work will bring complex systems to life—helping drive innovation, improve safety, and enhance the way aviation professionals learn and operate.
Location: El Segundo, CA 90245
Schedule: Monday–Friday (9x80 schedule)
Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 months)
Pay Rate: $132.02 /hour
Design, develop, and maintain 2D and 3D games and simulations using the Unity engine
Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to integrate assets and implement gameplay mechanics
Optimize performance across platforms including PC, mobile, and simulation environments
Debug, test, and resolve issues to ensure smooth and immersive user experiences
Implement physics-based interactions, AI systems, and rendering features
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from concept through deployment
Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical and creative requirements into functional solutions
Use version control tools (e.g., Git) to manage code and collaborate effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Proficiency in C# programming for Unity
Strong understanding of Unity’s physics, rendering, and AI systems
Experience developing both 2D and 3D applications
Ability to optimize performance across multiple platforms
Knowledge of game design principles and interactive system development
Familiarity with asset creation tools (e.g., Blender, Houdini, Autodesk 3ds Max, Pixyz)
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience with DiSTI VE Studio
Programming experience in Python and/or C++
Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse
Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX
Exposure to simulation, training systems, or aerospace-related applications
