Schedule: 2nd shift - 2:30 pm -11 pm - Monday - Friday
 
Are you ready to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic environment? PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our team in Clearwater, FL for our client Honeywell.
 
Role Summary:
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts at floor stations, testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Your role will involve using hand tools and power tools to assemble units, identifying units that fail tests or tolerance levels, and making necessary repairs.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations.

• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and make necessary repairs.

• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.

• Report to a supervisor or manager and work under direct supervision.

 
Qualifications:
Required:

• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

• 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

 
Special Considerations:

• Lifting generally in the 10 to 15 lbs. range with minimal repetitions.

• Minimal exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks.
