Description:
Position Responsibilities: • Applies Company Design Principles in conjunction with Material Review Board (MRB) processes to disposition discrepant products during initial fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses • Provides on-site, direct engineering support to Operations partners • Must be willing to support a 3 x 12 shift, Friday through Sunday, in an Operations/Production environment Required Skills: • US Citizen and/or US Person’s status • Engineering or technical degree from an ABET (preferred) accredited college • Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications
Preferred Skills: • Familiar with electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses • Prior commercial airplane (BCA), or defense (BDS) systems knowledge • Prior knowledge of VC25 or 747 airplane design principles, including wiring diagrams, specifications • Prior Company MRB experience preferred
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
