PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading name in the aviation industry to bring on a skilled Aerospace Products Repair/Modification Technician in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. In this critical role, you will ensure aircraft systems are restored, upgraded, and maintained to the highest standards—directly impacting flight safety, mission readiness, and operational excellence.

Your Impact

You will be at the core of aerospace maintenance and modification, ensuring that complex systems are functioning flawlessly. Your expertise will help extend the life and performance of critical aircraft components while supporting vital aviation programs.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will:

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components to resolve issues or implement upgrades
  
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults
  
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for diagnostics and testing
  
• Perform validation and verification testing to ensure systems meet performance standards
  
• Inspect components and verify all repairs meet strict flight-worthiness requirements
  
• Document repair activities, modifications, and test results to meet regulatory and contractual compliance
  
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul operations
  
• Support training efforts and share knowledge with team members
  
• Work under general direction while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  
• 4+ years of related experience in aerospace repair, maintenance, or modification
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical manuals and documentation
  
• Experience working in regulated environments with strict compliance standards
  
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
  
   
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training, Associate degree, or higher in a related technical field
  
• Hands-on experience with aerospace systems and components
  
• Familiarity with test equipment setup and system validation processes
  
• Previous experience supporting training or mentoring others
  
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
