PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a top leader in the aviation industry to hire a skilled Product Repair/Modification Technician in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure aerospace systems operate safely and efficiently by performing complex repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting that directly support mission readiness and flight safety.

Your Impact

As a Product Repair/Mod Technician, you are essential to maintaining the reliability and performance of advanced aerospace systems. Your work ensures aircraft components meet the highest standards for safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components
  
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults
  
• Perform validation and verification testing on systems and components
  
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
  
• Inspect components and verify repairs meet strict flight-worthiness standards
  
• Document repair procedures, test results, and modifications for compliance and traceability
  
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul operations
  
• Support and guide training efforts for team members
  
• Ensure all work aligns with regulatory and contractual requirements
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  
• 4+ years of related experience in aerospace repair, maintenance, or modification
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation and procedures
  
• Experience working in regulated environments with strict compliance standards
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training, Associate degree, or higher in a related field
  
• Hands-on experience with aerospace systems and components
  
• Familiarity with test equipment configuration and system validation
  
• Prior experience supporting training or mentoring team members
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
