Design Liaison Engineer

Location: Onsite – Greenville, SC
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with occasional overtime
Pay Rate: $61.70/hr
As a Design Liaison Engineer, you’ll serve as a vital connection between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams—helping deliver reliable, high-performance hardware solutions while driving continuous improvement.
Partner with Global Supply Chain teams to resolve hardware non-conformances and ensure top-tier product quality
Support design for manufacturability, lean production flow, and concurrent engineering efforts
Evaluate and disposition non-conforming hardware using sound engineering judgment and analysis
Lead and participate in Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts to reduce defects and optimize processes
Drive new process qualifications and technology development (e.g., castings, coatings, hole drilling)
Apply expertise in gas turbine components (Hot Gas Path) to improve design, cost efficiency, and performance
Collaborate cross-functionally to address top manufacturing challenges and quality initiatives
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (accredited institution)
Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
Hands-on experience with gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery (preferably Hot Gas Path components)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and coatings
Experience with non-conformance dispositioning and engineering assessments
Proficiency with FEA, solid modeling tools, Python (or similar analytical tools)
Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with NX, ANSYS Classic, and advanced manufacturing processes
Background in lean manufacturing and statistical process control (SPC)
Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
