Summary:

Performs system requirements development, decomposition, and allocation.

Conducts system logical and functional decomposition or analysis.

Develops system architecture, design, and synthesis.

Performs system verification and validation of requirements.

Supports FAA and Military Certification processes.

Leads system analysis and project engineering including Technical Performance Measures, Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management.

Utilizes Model Based Systems Engineering tools including MSOSA, CAMEO, Rhapsody, DOORS, 3DX, and TeamCenter.

Develops and delivers SEIT products such as architecture models, requirements databases, specifications, and reports.

Applies domain knowledge of MIL Radio, Mil Nav, Mission System, Networking, Cabin Systems, IFE, Classified Processing, 787 Common Core Avionics, 777-300 AIMS, 737-MAX avionics, LAIRCM, RWR, CMDS, Airworthiness, and avionics interfaces.

Works with avionics interface standards including ARINC 429 and MIL-STD 1553.

Requirements:

Active Secret Security Clearance Required to Start.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

2+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO, MSOSA, Rhapsody).

Experience in Requirements Management using IBM DOORs.

Experience in verification and validation of requirements.

Preferred: Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, and SSOW development.

Preferred: Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management, and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).

Preferred: Experience in systems integration and test (lab, ground, flight) and Airworthiness / Certification (FAA, EASA, Military).
