Product Review Engineer 3

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Review Engineer (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Mesa, AZ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Engineering or technical degree from an ABET (preferred) accredited college
• Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Applies client Design Principles in conjunction with Material Review Board (MRB) processes to disposition discrepant products during initial fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses
• Provides on-site, direct engineering support to Operations partners
• Must be willing to support a 3 x 12 shift, Friday through Sunday, in an Operations/Production environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Familiar with electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses
• Prior commercial airplane (BCA), or defense (BDS) systems knowledge
• Prior knowledge of VC25 or 747 airplane design principles, including wiring diagrams, specifications
• Prior client MRB experience preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
