Your Role & Impact

As an Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex electronic assemblies used in aviation systems. Your work ensures reliability, quality, and performance—directly contributing to safe and efficient aircraft operations.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Clearwater, FL
  
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (EST)
  
• Duration: 12-month contract
  
• Pay Rate: $22.00 – $35.00/hour
  

What You’ll Do

• Set up and conduct testing on electronic circuit cards, RF circuits, and subassemblies
  
• Troubleshoot electronic systems down to the component level using schematic diagrams
  
• Adjust, calibrate, and repair electronic assemblies and test systems
  
• Analyze test results and recommend improvements to products and processes
  
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine test procedures
  
• Operate test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators
  
• Inspect and verify product quality using established standards and procedures
  
• Document test and repair activities using Microsoft Office and data systems
  
• Support production timelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct electronics testing or troubleshooting experience
  
• Strong skills in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits
  
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
  
• Experience with flying probe or in-circuit testing (ICT)
  
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) troubleshooting
  
• Familiarity with radar systems
  
• Experience with vibration and thermal ESS testing
  
• Background in backshop repair environments (LRUs, circuit cards, subassemblies)
  
• Technical training equivalent to an Associate degree in electronics or related field
