Your Role & Impact

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and test advanced software solutions that support aviation mission systems. Your work will directly influence system performance, reliability, and innovation—helping deliver cutting-edge technology that powers modern aviation.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Orlando, FL (must be local; onsite as needed)
  
• Schedule: First Shift, Monday–Thursday (4/10 schedule)
  
• Duration: 6-month contract (potential for full-time hire)
  
• Pay Rate: $49.00 – $100.00/hour
  

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop software using C++ and Unreal Engine technologies
  
• Create test procedures and conduct testing aligned with mission requirements
  
• Build and implement automated test frameworks
  
• Analyze system capabilities, inputs/outputs, and programming requirements
  
• Debug and resolve software issues to ensure optimal performance
  
• Develop and maintain documentation for software and testing processes
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system components
  
• Apply development standards, processes, and tools across the software lifecycle
  
• Support continuous improvement of systems and development methodologies
  

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience with Unreal Engine development
  
• 4–6 years advanced C++ programming experience
  
• 2–4 years experience with test automation
  
• 2–4 years experience with system integration
  
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
  
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  
• Must be local to Orlando, FL and able to work onsite as needed
  
• U.S. work authorization required
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software for simulation, training, or mission systems
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, high-tech environments
