Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs) • Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time • Must have prior experience visually inspecting solder connections, for both SMT and Thru hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. • Must be able to identify non-conformances per applicable documentation, specifications. • Minimum 2 year of experience performing visual solder Inspection on CCA's . • Minimum 1 year experience inspecting conformal coating on CCA's • Must have good attention to detail, be Quality and process oriented with a zero defect mindset, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. •Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills •Proficient with Personal Computers. •Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when addressing quality defects. •Candidates must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide. •Candidates must be able to read/write English.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: CCA inspector 1st Shift - Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role will incorporate use of drawings and written inspection instructions. Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
