Job Title: Fabrication Technician Specialist 
Job Type: Full time; Contract
Location: Salt Lake, UT
Schedule:  Monday to Friday; 2nd Shift 3:30PM-12:00PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

About the Role

As a Fabrication Technician Specialist, you will play a critical role in assembling and fabricating aircraft components with accuracy and efficiency. Based in Salt Lake City, UT, you’ll support production efforts that ensure high-quality, reliable aerospace systems—directly contributing to innovation and operational excellence in aviation.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks for aircraft components

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to precise specifications

• Install wire harnesses and avionics products

• Conduct chemical conversion processes and paint preparation

• Apply organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements

• Interpret blueprints, production orders, and technical drawings to complete work accurately

• Work on components of moderate complexity using established procedures

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs

• Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) and additional overtime or weekends as needed

• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience or equivalent training

• 3+ months of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience

• Experience working with safety, quality, and production metrics

• Familiarity with Lean principles (continuous improvement, standard work, 5S)
