Chipton-Ross is seeking a Nurse 3 for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience • Requires nursing curriculum and registration by a state board of nursing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • We are looking for a part-time/on-call Nurse 3 to support our Environmental, Health, Safety and Medical (ESHM) department. As a member of the ESHM department you’ll get to support the Medical team. • Provides nursing services to employees or persons who become ill or suffer an accident. • Administers first aid; operates dispensary; attends subsequent dressings of injuries; maintains records of persons treated; prepares accident reports; provides health education information; dispenses standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cough or cold tablets; refers contagious diseases or serious injuries to company or employees physician; and may assist doctors in examining patients.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS: Part-time/on-call.
