Your Impact
As an NC Programmer, you'll help ensure the successful production of high-performance aerospace parts by creating the programs and processes that drive sophisticated numerically controlled manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and production readiness while supporting some of the industry's most advanced aerospace programs.
What You'll Do
Develop, verify, revise, and maintain Machine Control Data (MCD) for a wide range of numerically controlled manufacturing and inspection equipment.
Create and optimize machining programs, geometry, and technical documentation that support production operations.
Establish technical requirements that improve manufacturability, producibility, and process efficiency.
Support the manufacturing of aerospace parts, tools, assemblies, and production equipment.
Validate machining processes and ensure compliance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support production objectives.
Analyze and resolve programming, machining, and manufacturing challenges to improve performance and quality.
Plan and support the implementation of new machining techniques, manufacturing technologies, software solutions, and equipment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and operational excellence.
Ensure production readiness through thorough verification and validation of manufacturing programs and processes.
Utilize advanced engineering and manufacturing systems including CATIA, ENOVIA, IVT, and REDARS to support programming and production activities.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, OR
Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of related experience, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience, including 5+ years of related professional experience.
Experience in NC programming, CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or related technical disciplines.
Knowledge of numerical control machining processes and manufacturing methodologies.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and effectively under general direction.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within aerospace, aviation, defense, or advanced manufacturing industries.
Proficiency with CATIA and ENOVIA.
Familiarity with IVT and REDARS systems.
Experience creating and validating Machine Control Data (MCD).
Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machining and advanced manufacturing processes.
Experience supporting tooling, inspection programming, and production process development.
Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and producibility principles.
Experience implementing process improvements and manufacturing optimization initiatives.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
