About the Role

As a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of complex aviation programs by developing and managing integrated plans and schedules. In this 8-month full-time consulting position, based in Palmdale, CA, you’ll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, finance, and quality teams to keep high-stakes projects on track—directly supporting innovations that shape the future of aerospace.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  
• Coordinate program schedules across multiple functions, ensuring alignment and integration
  
• Track project progress using Gantt charts, PERT, milestone charts, and other tools
  
• Perform risk analysis and identify potential schedule or program conflicts
  
• Analyze critical path and network logic to proactively resolve issues
  
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) principles to monitor performance
  
• Identify performance variances and recommend corrective actions
  
• Support program teams with data-driven insights to improve execution and outcomes
  

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project
  
• Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and project planning principles
  
• Ability to analyze complex schedules, risks, and dependencies
  
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
  
   
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
  
• Familiarity with tools such as Deltek Cobra and Deltek Acumen Risk
  
• Advanced MS Project expertise and Excel (Macro/VBA) skills
  
• Experience with:
  
  
  
  • Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS)
    
  • Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA)
    
  • DCMA schedule health metrics
    
  
  
  
• Active DoD Top Secret (TS) and/or SCI clearance (not required to start)
  
• Level 4 experience is a plus
