Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the VC-25B Build Program, you’ll be at the heart of aircraft production—bridging design, engineering, and manufacturing. Your expertise will drive efficient build strategies, resolve complex production challenges, and ensure every component meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
What You’ll Do
In this highly collaborative and fast-paced role, you will:
Develop and refine aircraft zonal build plans, identifying risks and creating efficient, sequence-based execution strategies
Lead design and build change implementation, assessing production impacts and improving manufacturability
Serve as a technical liaison, providing consultation and collaboration across engineering, production, and stakeholder teams
Drive innovation and continuous improvement through data analysis and process optimization
Act as an integrator for the overall health of the production system, aligning design, build plans, and final product outcomes
Support configuration management and loadable software processes
Lead and participate in build integration activities and milestone achievements
Facilitate technical review meetings, providing impact assessments and recommendations
Strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment across commodities and stakeholders
Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve production processes
Support production environments, including working directly on aircraft when needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field
2+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
2+ years of experience supporting development of engineering technical data packages for aircraft components
Strong technical writing skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
Ability to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX
Willingness to perform physical tasks such as walking on aircraft and crouching
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related experience in manufacturing or aerospace engineering
Background in electrical systems or wire installation
Experience with build integration and validation testing (IVT)
Familiarity with tools such as CATIA, GoldEsp, and MS Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, meet deadlines, and solve complex technical problems

Pay Details: $61.31 per hour
