JOB TITLE: TPS (Thermal) Systems Technician
LOCATION: Kennedy Space Center, FL
PAY RATE: $36.00/hour

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Ability to Obtain security clearance

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:

Experience with primer mixing and applications.

Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) foam application preferred.

Experience interpreting complex blueprints and process documents.

Work on structures and systems using established drawings and requirements.

Ability to work with chemicals for applications on product.

Understand mixing ratios of chemicals and their application.

Requirements:

Ability to Obtain security clearance.

Experience with primer mixing and applications.

Experience working in tight spaces for extended periods.

Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) foam application (preferred).

Experience in clean room environment (preferred).

Manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware (preferred).

Experience or coursework in thermal protective systems (preferred).
