PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation manufacturer to hire a skilled Aerodynamic Sealer. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for applying specialized sealing techniques that directly contribute to aircraft performance, safety, and fuel efficiency.

Your craftsmanship will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and aerodynamic precision of advanced aircraft systems.

What You’ll Do

As an Aerodynamic Sealer, you will:

• Apply sealants and coatings including fillet sealing, fay sealing, cap sealing, brush coating, and aerodynamic seals
  
• Perform sealing operations on major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and integral fuel cells
  
• Work from engineering drawings, specifications, and process documents to meet strict quality standards
  
• Conduct pressure testing and apply leveling compounds and scotch cast materials
  
• Complete required data collection and documentation for process tracking and compliance
  
• Perform rework, fabrication adjustments, and functional checks during and after sealing processes
  
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and consistency
  
• Identify and report issues such as process errors, tooling problems, or workflow inefficiencies
  
• Support production flow by training and assisting team members across skill levels
  
• Install collars and temporarily attach components as needed during assembly processes
  
• Apply sealants to integral fuel cell systems and wing components, ensuring safety and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with sealants in aerospace or manufacturing environments
  
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
  
• Experience with precision measurement tools
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety guidelines
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  
  
  
  • Fuel cell sealing and aerospace sealing techniques
    
  • Large structure or major assembly sealing
    
  • Aerodynamic sealing processes
    
  
  
  
• Prior experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing
  
• Ability to support and mentor team members in a production setting
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
