We’re seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to support a growing demand for analytics and reporting within Power Systems. In this role, you’ll design, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting solutions, enabling stakeholders to make faster, data-driven decisions.
You’ll work closely with Operational Technology Strategic Services (OTSS), Grid Data & Analytics (GD&A), and Data Services teams, helping standardize reporting practices and improve data accessibility across the organization.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable data visualizations
Apply best practices to ensure dashboards are user-friendly, performant, and consistent
Document dashboard logic, data sources, and design standards
Act as the primary contact for dashboard development requests
Manage and prioritize the dashboard backlog
Continuously improve dashboards based on user feedback and evolving needs
Accelerate delivery timelines for reporting solutions
Develop and maintain Power BI datasets/semantic models
Align with enterprise data standards and governance frameworks
Ensure consistency in KPIs, measures, and definitions across reports
Collaborate with data engineering teams to leverage certified datasets
Follow enterprise data governance, security, and reporting standards
Promote dataset reuse and standardized reporting frameworks
Partner with data teams to ensure trusted, auditable data pipelines
Implement templates and best practices for efficiency and scalability
Document reporting logic and design for long-term sustainability
Support training for analysts and business users
Contribute to standardized Power BI development practices across teams
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard development & data modeling)
Proficiency in SQL and data querying
Experience working with semantic models and enterprise datasets
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong understanding of data governance and reporting best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in energy, utilities, or operational technology (OT) environments
Familiarity with data engineering workflows and enterprise data platforms
Experience supporting high-volume reporting environments
Knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Background working with analytics teams, data scientists, or BI teams
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and trust
Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
