PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation and aerospace industry to hire a Fabrication Specialist supporting critical mechanical and structural assembly operations. What You’ll Do
As a Fabrication Specialist, you will:
Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components to exact specifications
Build and install pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, and tubing assemblies
Perform structural drilling and assembly, including match drilling on advanced materials
Measure tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for high-precision work
Apply correct torque specifications and mechanical clearances
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical requirements
Handle complex components in a controlled, high-performance manufacturing environment
Contribute to the assembly of systems used in spaceflight and aerospace applications
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of related mechanical or fabrication experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience with mechanical assembly, drilling, or tubing installation
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a NASA program or aerospace manufacturing environment
Familiarity with clean room processes
Experience with aircraft, spaceflight, or human-rated hardware manufacturing
Knowledge of:
Tube, valve, and fitting installation
Structural assembly using aluminum, titanium, and composites
Tubing and ducting systems
Hands-on experience with advanced assembly and fabrication techniques

Pay Details: $27.31 per hour
