Manufacturing Engineer Technician

Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Consultant
Schedule: 4x10 Shift (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat) | Must be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift
Pay Rate: Starting at $48/hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aviation leader to hire a skilled Manufacturing Engineer ready to make an impact on advanced aerospace programs. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Plan and develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide production teams
Support mechanics by providing technical clarification and resolving build issues
Prepare build plans, cost analyses, and manufacturing strategies
Integrate suppliers, materials, and technologies to meet delivery and performance requirements
Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturability standards are achieved
Develop and manage tooling—from design through lifecycle completion
Investigate and resolve complex or systemic manufacturing issues
Conduct producibility assessments and contribute to design improvements
Create and maintain process documentation aligned with regulatory standards
Develop job sequencing and scheduling templates to support efficient production flow
Implement new manufacturing techniques, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or
Associate degree with 6+ years of experience, or
High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
Experience in Manufacturing Planning
Strong ability to analyze and interpret engineering data, including 2D and 3D drawings
Proficiency in CAD software
Solid understanding of manufacturing engineering processes
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with Gold ESP and MESCI systems
Familiarity with WIRS tools
Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
