PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading name in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing Engineer. What You’ll Do

As a key engineering contributor, you will:

• Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and visual aids defining as-built configurations

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to integrate engineering changes and execute build milestones

• Analyze design and production concepts to ensure manufacturability and identify alternative solutions

• Provide technical oversight and approve manufacturing processes, tools, and approaches

• Support installation planning and execute on-site (shipside) integration activities

• Identify tooling requirements and coordinate procurement aligned with engineering needs

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues during production activities

• Collect and analyze data to support producibility and design optimization

• Mentor team members and contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives

• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, production, and quality to ensure program success

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline

• 9+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering

• Hands-on experience in electrical manufacturing, including:

  • Wire bundle fabrication

  • Wiring installation and routing

  • Electrical equipment installation

• 3+ years of leadership experience (formal or informal)

• Experience leading cross-functional projects or initiatives

• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial or military aircraft maintenance and modification

• Background in troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems

• Familiarity with Electrical Design Automation (EDA) tools such as OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium, or PSPICE

• Experience with WIRS software

• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, production-driven environments
