What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality aerospace components by:

• Setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines to exact tolerances
  
• Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining processes
  
• Performing machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, boring, and honing
  
• Inspecting parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
  
• Monitoring processes using statistical and quality control methods
  
• Performing routine machine maintenance, including lubrication and filter changes
  
• Supporting continuous production flow by moving materials and completing required system transactions
  
• Collaborating with team members and assisting in training less experienced operators
  
• Deburring, assembling, and finishing components per engineering requirements
  
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) standards
  

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or WorkKeys completion)
  
• Minimum 3 years of machine operator experience
  
• Strong understanding of machining practices and shop safety (OSHA compliance)
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex issues clearly
  
• Willingness to work any shift, including overtime and weekends
  
• Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and maintaining confidentiality
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing
  
• Vocational or technical training in machining or manufacturing
  
• Experience with CNC machinery and multi-machine operations
