Materials Analyst

Pay Rate: $30.77 – $33.13/hr
Shift: 1st Shift 7am-4pm Monday - Friday with Rotating Saturdays
We’re seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Materials Analyst to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring material availability, minimizing shortages, and enabling on-time production.

Analyze inventory levels, shortages, and supply risks to ensure production continuity
Investigate and resolve material shortages caused by supply disruptions, inventory discrepancies, or demand changes
Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past-due materials
Collaborate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues
Escalate critical shortages with clear root cause analysis and recommended actions
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and trackers to improve visibility and decision-making
Support material planning, production planning, purchasing, and inventory control processes
Drive execution of key tasks to support shop performance and customer delivery commitments
3+ years of experience in materials planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
Strong proficiency with Excel, Access, Power BI, or SQL-based reporting tools
Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable decisions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
2-year degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Experience building dashboards, reports, or analytics tools for operations
Strong understanding of material flow, planning, and shortage management processes
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Proactive problem-solving and root cause analysis
