Pay Rate: $54.14 - $60.32 per hour.

The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex equipment.

Responsibilities:
• Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
• Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
• Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services, and their ability to deliver required products or services.
• The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
• The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum 3 years of relevant experience or 2+ years with a Master's degree.
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge.
• Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
• Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
• Experience developing technical documentation – such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis.

Desired Qualifications:
• Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, and LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g., C, C#, LabWindows/CVI.
• Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio, circuit board schematic & layout tools.
• Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environment.
• Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems.
• Experience with integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays and development of electronic control logic.
• Experience with developing and integrating power generation, conversion, and storage solutions.
• Experience in the development and integration of ammunition handling/loading systems, including autoloaders and large caliber rammer systems.
