JOB TITLE: Stretch Press Hand Routing Operator
LOCATION: Wichita, KS
PAY RATE: $44/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier aerospace client.

Job Type: Contract (3 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

If previously employed by a major aerospace manufacturer, are you eligible for rehire consideration?

Summary:

Perform stretch press and hand rout operations on aerospace parts and assemblies

Work with complex parts requiring close tolerances and precision measurements

Read and follow engineering drawings and specifications

Develop forming methods, techniques, and tooling as needed

Adjust and maintain heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems

Fabricate and assemble mechanical, structural, and plumbing components

Use test equipment to inspect and verify part conformity

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of Stretch Press and/or Hand Route Operator experience

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Experience working with precision measuring and test equipment

Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift

Must be available for overtime and weekend work as required

Must be able to pass required background checks

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)
