Role Overview

As an Assembler, you’ll play a critical role in constructing complex electronic and mechanical systems that power cutting-edge aerospace and defense solutions. Your work directly impacts the reliability, performance, and innovation behind mission-critical technologies.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on position, you will:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components including modules, boards, panels, cables, and subassemblies
  
• Work from engineering diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to complete precise builds
  
• Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly operations
  
• Perform continuity checks and quality inspections throughout production
  
• Conduct rework, modifications, and testing of assemblies and prototypes
  
• Work with microscopes to complete fine, detail-oriented assembly
  
• Ensure products meet strict quality and performance specifications
  
• Support production teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience
  
• Experience with soldering, SMT (surface mount technology), or wire harness construction
  
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
  
• Experience working with precision tools and microscopes
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
  
   
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with radio frequency (RF) or CNI systems assembly
  
• Background in rework and modification of dense SMT circuit boards
  
• Experience assembling prototype cables or experimental builds
  
• Familiarity with MES systems such as SAP, Solumina, or Tableau
  
• Knowledge of ESD, FOD, ITAR, and AS9100 standards
