Location: Dallas, TX | Pay Rate: $24.50/hour | Schedule: 1st Shift (5:25am - 4:05pm)
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire detail-oriented and motivated Cabinet Makers who are ready to bring craftsmanship, precision, and creativity to the world of aviation. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in the fabrication of high-quality aircraft interior cabinetry and wood-surfaced subassemblies used in advanced aerospace environments.

What You’ll Do
As a Cabinet Maker, you’ll learn and apply specialized cabinet fabrication techniques while contributing to the production of premium aircraft interiors. Working under direct supervision, you’ll gain valuable technical skills and hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Interpret design and engineering drawings to fabricate aircraft cabinetry and wood-surfaced components
Learn and apply aircraft cabinetmaking techniques, tools, materials, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and assemble furniture components using:
Laminates
Veneers
Cap strips
Wood finishing materials
Utilize material tracking systems to:
Create parts demand
Track squawks/issues
Sign off completed work
Follow all safety procedures, 5S standards, and housekeeping policies
Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Help protect aircraft interiors during production processes
Support continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer literacy
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work in small or restricted areas
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Flexibility to work any shift as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:
Woodworking
Wood finishing
Auto body and painting in a technical environment
Completion of a Technical Certificate in Cabinet Making
Completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program in a related trade
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
Ability to follow technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
