Role Overview

As an Assembly Technician, you’ll be at the heart of the manufacturing process—assembling and installing critical components that power advanced aviation systems. Your precision, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality will directly support production excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic production role, you will:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components including panels, frames, cables, and subassemblies
  
• Follow blueprints, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate builds
  
• Perform essential tasks such as drilling, sealing, fastening, countersinking, painting, and varnishing
  
• Set up and operate manual and automated assembly equipment
  
• Conduct functional testing, inspections, and continuity checks throughout production
  
• Perform rework, modifications, and repairs as needed
  
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy
  
• Move materials and components safely within the production area
  
• Document discrepancies and troubleshoot issues related to parts, processes, or tools
  
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment (filters, lubrication, etc.)
  
• Support team productivity by training, coaching, and assisting peers
  
• Work toward certification such as MVP qualification
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Experience in assembly processes such as drilling, sealing, fastening, or subassembly work
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as required
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing assembly environments
  
• Familiarity with structural assembly and installation processes
  
• Background in surface finishing, sealing, or painting operations
  
• Experience troubleshooting and improving assembly workflows
  
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team-based production settings
