About the Role
As the Lead Engineer in Manufacturing Process, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes that drive quality, efficiency, and delivery performance for both the company and its customers. You’ll collaborate across engineering and production teams to implement innovative solutions that improve manufacturing capability and support cutting-edge electronic products.
What You’ll Do
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to support customer products
Develop application software and tooling for complex manufacturing machines and mechanical process steps
Lead process capability assessments using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods
Optimize manufacturing throughput, resource utilization, cost efficiency, and production capacity
Troubleshoot and resolve complex product, process, and component-related manufacturing issues
Collaborate with product designers to evaluate and improve manufacturability
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Support cross-functional teams in achieving quality, cost, and delivery goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1–3 years of related engineering or manufacturing process experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working within manufacturing or production environments
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process analysis
Knowledge of manufacturing automation, tooling, or process software development
Background in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production environments
Experience leading process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives
Work Environment
Primarily office and manufacturing environment
Extended periods of computer and data analysis work
Frequent use of engineering software and detailed technical data
Occasional travel may be required
