PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Mechanical/Structures/Assembly Technician to join an industry-leading aerospace partner. In this hands-on role, you’ll be part of a team that directly contributes to the development, testing, and refinement of aircraft systems and components. Your work will have a tangible impact on performance, safety, and innovation in aviation.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor, you’ll support engineering and manufacturing processes by:

• Collecting and analyzing data to define requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes

• Incorporating updates into specifications and technical documentation

• Testing and qualifying new tools, materials, and processes to meet strict performance standards

• Assisting with supplier qualification efforts to ensure compliance and quality

• Conducting basic failure analysis to identify performance issues and root causes

• Supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions

• Helping develop and improve computer-based and production systems

• Utilizing project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule goals

• Integrating Environmental Health & Safety, Lean, and Quality principles into workflows and procedures

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (from an accredited program)

• Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with digital systems

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Associate Degree (AA)

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or similar technical environments

• Familiarity with Lean principles, quality systems, or testing/validation processes
