As a Liaison Engineer, you’ll act as the critical bridge between engineering design and factory production. Working directly on the shop floor, you’ll resolve complex technical challenges, ensure product integrity, and help translate designs into reality. Your expertise will directly impact aircraft quality, safety, and delivery timelines.
Analyze production non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions
Apply engineering principles and design standards to resolve manufacturing and process issues
Serve as the engineering representative on the factory floor, partnering closely with production teams
Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and quality concerns across the product lifecycle
Develop product and process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews
Ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards across production and supplier activities
Assist in damage repair, structural modifications, and safety assessments
Design interim structural repairs and conduct applicable analyses
Contribute to non-destructive testing procedures and documentation
Participate in on-site repair teams, investigations, and engineering support initiatives
Job Title: Liaison Engineering (Consultant Level 5)
Location: Everett, Seattle, Auburn, or Renton, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, may rotate)
Duration: 12-Month Full-Time Contract
Pay Rate Starting at : $79.98 per hour
Environment: Fully onsite in a dynamic production/factory setting
Note:
Includes participation in a 9-month training rotation program with potential for alternate shifts, overtime, and travel between Puget Sound sites
Work environment includes exposure to manufacturing conditions (noise, stairs, confined aircraft spaces, etc.)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited (or equivalent) program
14+ years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering
Recent BCA MRB experience (within the last 2 years)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely engineering decisions
Ability to work onsite and collaborate cross-functionally in production environments
Senior-level engineering experience (14+ years in advanced roles)
Hands-on expertise with materials and manufacturing processes
Experience in aerospace production or aircraft environments
Proven ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
