Chipton-Ross is seeking a APG Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): 5+ Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required). Phase Maintenance, Final Assembly or Flight Ops/Flight Readiness experience. The Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include: • Landing gear • Powerplants • Flight controls • Fueling/Defueling • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time Must be able to work 1st or 2nd or Weekend shift as assigned after training 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6:00am-4:30pm 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30pm-3:00am Weekend Shift Thus-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm
ADDITIONAL: Clearance not Required but is preferred. Clearance at minimum must be in process at time of start.
