JOB TITLE: F-16 Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

    Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

    Shift: 1st Shift (Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift after training)

    1st Shift: Monday Thursday | 5:30 AM 4:00 PM

    2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 3:00 PM 1:30 AM

Qualifying Questions:

    Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

    Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

    Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

    Support flight test and depot-level modification activities for aircraft systems.

    Install and test electrical harnesses, wiring, and avionics components.

    Route and secure wires, cables, and electrical systems according to engineering specifications.

    Perform cable and wire termination and soldering operations.

    Conduct continuity testing, operational checks, and system testing to ensure flight readiness.

    Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems as needed.

    Perform inspections, installations, and testing to support aircraft sustainment efforts.

    Support general mechanical tasks and system installations as required.

    Follow work instructions, engineering documentation, and quality standards to ensure compliance and safety.

Requirements:

    Experience with avionics systems, aircraft electrical systems, or aerospace maintenance.

    Experience installing and troubleshooting:

      Electrical harnesses

      Aircraft wiring/cabling

      Avionics components

    Experience with continuity testing, system testing, and operational checks.

    Experience with wire termination and soldering techniques.

    Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems.

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions.

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and flight safety.

    Must be willing and able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training.

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience supporting fighter aircraft, military aviation, or sustainment/depot operations.

    Hands-on experience with F-16 aircraft systems.

    Background in flight test or aircraft modification programs.

    Military aviation maintenance experience is a plus.
