Summary:
Apply industrial engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to products, processes, and services.
Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, workflow sequencing, and accident prevention measures.
Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating facilities, equipment, personnel, supply chain, and product design considerations.
Conduct workflow analysis and develop models, databases, spreadsheets, and metrics to support operational performance.
Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Support execution planning using project management, scheduling, and shop load planning practices.
Provide support for production operations, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, engineering requirements, and ergonomic guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting low-volume assembly for large-scale platforms, such as rotorcraft, military aircraft, or similar aerospace systems.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with Discrete Event Simulation Software, such as Simio or ProModel.
Familiarity with Constraint-Based Scheduling Software, including Aurora or MS Project.
Experience with job scheduling and sequencing.
Proficiency in NX/Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools.
Knowledge of APQP and PFMEA methodologies.
Experience using Teamcenter tools, including:
Product Data Management (PDM)
Process Simulate
Manufacturing Process Planner
