Role Snapshot

• Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
  
• Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)
  
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  
• Pay Rate: Starting at $79.38  per hour
  

In this role, you’ll design and deliver AI-driven solutions that enhance software development processes—especially in mission-critical avionics environments. Your work will directly contribute to safer, smarter, and more efficient aviation systems.

What You’ll Do

As an AI Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI algorithms and models using modern tools and frameworks
  
• Evaluate and apply AI tools for code generation and avionics software enhancement
  
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover meaningful insights and improve model performance
  
• Train, test, validate, and optimize AI models for scalability and reliability
  
• Integrate AI solutions into production environments and continuously monitor performance
  
• Conduct Safety Risk Management assessments aligned with engineering standards
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and domain experts
  
• Lead technical initiatives (for senior-level candidates), mentor junior engineers, and drive engineering excellence
  
• Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and regulatory considerations
  

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience, OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience
  
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or modern languages
  
• Experience working in a software engineering environment
  
• Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA (no relocation assistance available)
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML algorithms, tools, or frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and automated testing frameworks (PyTest, Google Test)
  
• Exposure to avionics or ADA-based systems
  
• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments
  
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
  
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  

Ideal Senior-Level Experience (Level 4)

• Proven ability to lead AI model design and implementation
  
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
  
• Advanced education and/or 5+ years of relevant experience
