    Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

    Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.

Qualifying Questions:

    Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:

    Perform stress analysis on new and revised subsystem routing designs within the F-35 airframe

    Analyze and assess wire harness routing, hydraulic tubing, and coolant line installations

    Conduct static strength assessments of:

      Brackets

      Clamps

      Shelves

      Pressurized tubes

      Welded tube assemblies

    Evaluate tube deflection and routing clearances to ensure system isolation from surrounding structures and neighboring systems

    Work directly with design engineers to communicate engineering requirements and verify compliant product designs

    Utilize classical engineering analysis methods, automated analytical tools, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support design validation

    Develop, run, and analyze Finite Element Models (FEM) using:

      HyperMesh

      Nastran

      Patran

Requirements:

    Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.

    Bachelor s or Master s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics

    Experience in Subsystem Stress Analysis and Routing

    Experience developing, running, and analyzing Finite Element Models (FEM) using HyperMesh, Nastran, and Patran

    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with strong interpersonal communication skills

    Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Desired Skills:

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly:

      Excel

      Word

      PowerPoint

    Strong Excel-based mathematical calculations and macro coding experience highly preferred

    Familiarity with:

      CATIA

      3DX (3DEXPERIENCE)

      TMP Vision

      Mathcad
