PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk. In this vital role, you’ll help manage the flow of high-value avionics equipment—ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency at every step. Your work directly supports operations that keep aircraft systems moving, repaired, and mission-ready.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time | Contract (12 months, potential for hire)

• Location: Wichita, KS

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st Shift)

• Pay Rate: $ 24.09 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in handling and tracking sensitive aviation components. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Verifying outgoing shipments for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Handling and processing incoming avionics equipment, ensuring proper documentation and care

• Safely opening shipments using tools (e.g., box cutters), organizing paperwork, and staging carts for workflow efficiency

• Monitoring your own work to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy

• Assisting with restocking supplies, including occasional use of a company vehicle

• Supporting inventory and logistics processes using systems and procedures

• Coordinating scheduling factors like holidays, overtime, and shift adjustments when needed

• Documenting and reporting defects or inconsistencies in shipments or equipment

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, especially when handling expensive and delicate components

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lifts) and 25 lbs independently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and accountability

• Ability to follow processes and work independently with moderate supervision

• Dependable, reliable, and safety-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse environments

• Strong organizational and time management skills
