Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time | Contract (12 months)
  
• Location: Lenexa, KS (100% onsite)
  
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (core hours, 40+ hours/week)
  
• Pay Rate: $51.48 per hour
  
• Travel: 25–30% (up to 40% based on business needs)
  

What You’ll Do

As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on problem solver. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary escalation point to resolve urgent supplier or delivery issues impacting production
  
• Driving on-time delivery performance by identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
  
• Managing electronic commodity supply chains, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and availability
  
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, procurement, and suppliers
  
• Leading root cause analysis and corrective action plans for supply disruptions
  
• Building strong relationships with global suppliers to influence performance and accountability
  
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  
• Driving process improvements, cost savings initiatives, and operational efficiencies
  
• Using data-driven decision-making and project management techniques to meet objectives
  
• Supporting long-term strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and profitability
  

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years experience)
  
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management
  
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (required)
  
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive results under pressure
  
• Experience working directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Technical field
  
• Experience with electronic components or commodities
  
• Background in aerospace or aviation
  
• Experience with Lean, process improvement, or project management methodologies
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Experience in delivery assurance and supplier performance management
  
• Ability to manage large-scale initiatives and influence stakeholders
