Embedded Software Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Must have Active SECRET Clearance
•Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++)
•Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment
•Must have previous HWIL experience working with real-time embedded systems
•Experience with simulation systems

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Looking for experienced C/C++ real-time embedded software engineer with hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Ada experience
•Full software development life cycle experience
•Experience working in cross-discipline/cross-functional teams
•Git, Gitlab, JIRA
•Agile experience (scrum)

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Accredited Bachelor's Degree

WORK HOURS:
•Full-Time
•4/10 work schedule
•1st Shift
