PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find a highly driven Flight Hours Services (FHS) Repair Manager who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and knows how to turn challenges into solutions.
In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between operations teams and repair suppliers, ensuring critical aircraft components are repaired and delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and aerospace operations will directly support mission-critical service performance for customers around the world.

What You'll Do
As the Flight Hours Services Repair Manager, you’ll oversee supplier performance across cost, lead time, quality, and operational support functions.
Cost Management (30%)
Challenge and validate commercial quotations in line with procurement guidelines
Review pricing models including flat rate, PBH, and time & material
Contribute to achieving global FHS repair cost targets
Leverage technical knowledge to evaluate repair quotations using Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
Lead Time Management (30%)
Ensure suppliers meet contractual repair turnaround times
Identify operational bottlenecks and root causes of delays
Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Visit supplier facilities to resolve performance issues and strengthen partnerships
Coordinate activity ramp-up with internal company entities
Quality Oversight (10%)
Lead operational review meetings with repair shops
Monitor repair status, open issues, and data reconciliation
Ensure compliance with technical standards, certifications, and approved work scopes
Verify adherence to EASA, FAA, CAAS, and related industry requirements
Warehouse & Operational Support (20%)
Monitor and manage SMS cards involving the Miami warehouse
Drive resolution of abnormal inventory or operational statuses
Track life-limited parts and quarantine clearances
Investigate POD discrepancies and support root cause correction activities
Participate in weekly operational meetings and warehouse visits
Support ongoing problem-solving initiatives tied to FHS operations
Additional Responsibilities (10%)
Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Aerospace, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation or supply chain operations
Experience in supplier operational management and supply chain coordination
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Technical aptitude to assess repair quotations and maintenance documentation
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, GSheets, GSlides)
SAP experience
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel approximately 10% annually to supplier locations
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Maintenance Part 145 knowledge
French and/or Spanish language skills
Aerospace maintenance or repair operations experience
