About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and analyzing structural components and functional systems for cutting-edge aviation products. Working from preliminary concepts, you’ll refine designs, apply engineering principles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performing solutions.

Job Details:

• Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418-7233
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (9x80 schedule)
• Pay Rate: $99.46/hour
• Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Design moderately complex structural components and functional systems
• Apply engineering principles and analytical methods to solve design challenges
• Interpret requirements and define materials and system specifications
• Develop and refine engineering designs based on preliminary concepts
• Produce and release design data after review
• Document all design activities and ensure compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve designs
• Provide recommendations to enhance processes and performance
• Respond effectively to project needs and technical inquiries

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of CAD software
• Knowledge of ASME Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance
• Experience working with NX CAD software
• Knowledge of machine shop fabrication processes and additive manufacturing
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Experience with metallic structures and composites
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
