Your Impact

As a Systems Engineer on the Flight Deck Design team, you will help define the cockpit experience for modern commercial aircraft. From concept and design to certification and in-service support, your work will directly influence pilot interaction, aircraft safety, and the future of flight operations worldwide.


What You’ll Do

In this high-visibility, collaborative role, you will:

  • Lead development and documentation of system and component design requirements for complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Create innovative design solutions using model-based engineering tools and numerical analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, flight crew operations, safety teams, supply chain, software engineering, suppliers, and customers
  • Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Specification Control Drawings (SCDs)
  • Conduct system safety analyses, including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and System Safety Assessment (SSA)
  • Identify design and production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Support factory and flight line operations with rapid problem resolution
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure integration and compliance
  • Provide lifecycle support for fielded hardware and software systems
  • Research emerging technologies to enhance future flight deck capabilities

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Pay Rate Starting at : $48.30 per hour

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field)
  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Proficiency with CATIA and ENOVIA tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in aerospace systems design or integration
  • Familiarity with system safety analysis and certification processes
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams

Pay Details: $48.30 per hour
