What You’ll Do

As a Systems Engineer (RM&SH), you will:

• Analyze customer requirements and develop reliability engineering programs to meet performance objectives
• Allocate system-level reliability requirements to design teams and track performance through predictions
• Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and reliability modeling to identify risks and improve designs
• Develop and maintain Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) databases
• Lead or participate in Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with design teams to provide reliability guidance and ensure objectives are achieved
• Interface with customers and leadership at major design reviews, delivering insights and recommendations
• Define environmental testing profiles and success criteria for system validation
• Evaluate subcontractor reliability programs and support proposal development
• Review engineering drawings and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability
• Support multiple advanced aerospace programs with technical expertise and insights

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time Contract (12 Months)
• Location: St. Charles, MO (100% Onsite)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Pay Rate: Starting at $69.62 per hour

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience with RM&SH engineering principles, including reliability predictions and performance analysis
• Hands-on experience with failure analysis and FRACAS systems
• Strong ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience applying Systems Engineering V-model methodologies
• Background in requirements development, verification, and validation
• Experience in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), reliability testing, and maintainability predictions
• Ability to influence and lead without formal authority
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• Prior experience supporting aerospace, defense, or weapons systems programs
