Are you an experienced Flight Management Systems (FMS) Software Engineer ready to work on highly complex, safety critical avionics? Join a high performing engineering team developing next generation flight management capabilities that enable precision navigation, performance optimization, and seamless pilot interaction.

This role is ideal for seasoned engineers (8–15 years of experience) who bring deep FMS domain expertise, strong software architecture skills, and a passion for building certified aerospace software.

Your Impact

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integrating core FMS software that directly influences aircraft navigation, guidance, and performance. Your work will support new product development, certification readiness, and the delivery of advanced avionics solutions trusted by pilots and operators worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop core FMS software architecture and applications
• Integrate flight management capabilities into new avionics platforms
• Implement high quality software solutions that meet performance, safety, and scalability requirements
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (systems, software, verification) to define requirements and delivery plans
• Contribute to functional load deliveries and certification ready software
• Conduct code reviews and mentor fellow engineers on best practices
• Perform testing and integration on lab test benches and simulators
• Stay current on avionics standards and software development best practices

Required Qualifications (Must?Have)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 8 years of Flight Management Systems (FMS) software development experience (mandatory)
• Strong C++ and object oriented programming skills
• Proven experience with software architecture and design
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications (We Value)

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
• Embedded software development experience
• Multi core / multi threaded software development
• Strong OOAD knowledge and design methodology
• Experience with DO 178C software lifecycle processes
• Software Verification & Validation (V&V) experience
• Analytical mindset with a passion for problem solving
• Strong collaboration skills and commitment to continuous learning
